I specialise in watercolour and am also happy to work in pasteljust with graphite pencils. My main area of interest is painting animals. As a pet sitter I am in constant contact with animals: horses, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens (even the odd snake!) This allows me to study them in great detail - not only their outer appearance, but also their diverse personalities which I try to incorporate into the painting. I work from photographs via email or post so location is not an issue. The finished result is an everlasting memory that captures the character of a beloved pet making it the perfect gift for yourself or others and is something to be cherished forever.

 

I also paint many other subjects such as landscapes and still life and enjoy trying different techniques.
